A Batik Air Boeing 737-800 registration PK-LBS reported a runway incursion incident with an ATR 42 belonging to Trans Nusa airline at Halim Perdanakusuma airport, Jakarta, tonight, Monday (04/04/2016).
No casualties were reported, according to a statement from the transportation ministry.
A Boeing 737-800 operated by Batik Air flight ID7703to Makassar, was attempting to take off from Halim Perdanakusuma airport when its wing clipped the tail of the Trans Nusa ATR42 aircraft registration PK-TNJ being towed off the runway.
“All passengers and crew were safely evacuated,” the transportation ministry said in a statement, adding the airport, which services mainly domestic flights, would be closed until further notice.

Batik Air Aircraft with the route Halim Perdanakusuma-Ujung Pandang,registered PK-LBS with callsign ID7703 cleared to takeoff by ATC and during takeoff it brushed with TransNusa which was pulled by a tractor at the time (making a relocation process). By that Pilot in Command decided to aborted takeoff to ensure the safety of passengers.
Batik Air ID7703 was carrying 49 passengers and 7 crew members. All the passengers and crew are safe and will be flown using aircraft replacement with another registration.
