FlySafair confirms the passing of a passenger who was in the process of boarding flight FA200 from OR Tambo International to Cape Town International airport.
The customer collapsed during boarding, as he entered the door of the aircraft, for unknown reasons. Paramedics were immediately called to assist but were sadly unable to revive the customer.
The departure of FA200 has been delayed as a result of these events. Customers have been asked to disembark the aircraft due to operate flight FA200. Standard procedure when someone passes away on board an aircraft is for SAPS to conduct an investigation of the scene.
