TUI Airways flight BY7113 to Birmingham departed Corfu Monday, July 28 2025 at 12:26 EEST.
Instead to land at Birmingham, the flight diverted to at East Midlands Airport due to tyre blow out on takeoff.
The Boeing 737-800 (registration G-FDZZ) was stuck on runway 27 while aircraft rescue and firefighting inspected the airport.
After more than one hour, the aircraft was towed to the stand.
