Lufthansa flight #LH470 to Toronto is returning to Frankfurt after more than 2 hours into the flight.
The Boeing 747-400 (registration D-ABVM) departed Frankfurt today delayed more than one hour. Scheduled at 14:00 CEST, the aircraft took off at 15:27 from runway 25C.
At 15:45 BST, while flying over Newcastle, UK at cruising altitude of 36,000 ft, the flight turned around.
The flight descended to 27,000 ft over the North Sea then climbed back to 29,000 ft over The Netherlands.
