The visibility is not that bad (3 km) but it’s actually cumulonimbus clouds that disturb approach to the Airport. Departure delays an average of 1 heures 30 minutes.
Flights are diverting to Nantes, Lille, Lyon and some European cities such as Bruxelles, Zurich and Geneva.
Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) handles approximately 600 arriving flights per day, equating to about 26 flights per hour . Additionally, the airport sees around 670 departing flights daily . This results in a total of nearly 1,300 flight movements each day.
