EasyJet, Europe’s leading airline, has today started flying from a new UK airport with a new route from Southampton to Geneva. This is the first time the airline has ever operated from the South Coast airport and aims to provide passengers from across the region with additional options for winter ski holidays or connecting through the Swiss hub.
EasyJet expects to fly over 10,000 passengers a year in the first winter served by its Airbus A320 aircraft.
