Due to situation in Middle East, Air France decided to change flight paths.
Following air strikes in Iran, Air France is changing flight paths to Middle East and Asian desitiations.
In the past few days, the flight #AF662 to Dubai flew thru Egypt, Saudi Arabia wiht a flight duration of 6 hours and 20 minutes.
Yesterday Sunday, October 27 2024, the new flight path added 3 hours. The Boeing 777-300ER (registration F-GZND) flew more North, over the Black Sea, then Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan then turned over Pakistan to finally reach Dubai.
Air France flights to India also now taking the North Route adding 1 hour to the usual route for flight #AF218 from Paris to Mumbai for exemple.
