A Qatar Airways Boeing 787 Dreamliner experienced an incident after landing at Doha Hamad International Airport Friday, October 25 2024.

While parking at the gate after flight #QR663 from Colombo, Sri Lanka, two wheels of the right main landing gear sunk about 1 m into an apron patch which collapsed.

The Boeing 787-8 (registration A7-BCV) then was laying on it’s right engine on the tarmac.

Doha Hamad International Airport team responded to secure the area and address the damage to both the apron and the aircraft.

The aircraft is still under maintenance check at the time we’re writing this article as inlet, fan cowls could have been damaged.
