Volaris A321neo experienced severe turbulence on approach to Monterrey

On 4th June, 2024 a Volaris Airbus A321neo experienced turbulence while on approach to Monterrey International Airport (MTY).

The Airbus A321-271NX, with registration XA-VUH was operating a flight from Cancún (CUN) to Monterrey (MTY). However, during the approach to Monterrey, the A321neo experienced a brief turbulence.

The unexpected turbulence caused temporary panic among the passengers. However, the pilots navigated the situation and landed the aircraft safely on Runway 30 after a second attempt. 

Thankfully, there were no reports of injuries and the aircraft landed safely without any further complications.
