Qatar Airways announced resuming flights to Iran as soon as today.
The airline announced today resuming its flights to Iran following the airspace and airports reopening.
Qatar Airways will resume the 20 weekly flights to four cities: Tehran, Mashhad, Shiraz and Isfahan.
The first flight to Tehran will takeoff in few hours. Flight #QR498 will leave Doha Hamad International Airport at 18:40 AST to land at Imam Khomeini International Airport almost 2 hours later.
The flight is usually operated by a Boeing 777 but today a Boeing 787-9 is scheduled.
