A passenger on flight BA 348 departing from London and bound for Nice this Thursday appeared to be dozing off.
A passenger on flight BA 348, departing from London Heathrow to Nice, France died on the plane,
Past Thursday, at 9:07 p.m., the Airbus A320-232 landed on the tarmac at Nice airport 1 hour 47 minutes late. On arrival, all the travelers got up to collect their belongings except a lady who seemed to have dozed off.
Stunned passengers on the flight found a 73-year-old woman who was thought to be asleep had actually died on the flight
Immediately, the alert was given. The flight crew therefore informed the control tower and requested emergency medical intervention.
The medical team tried to resuscitate the victim. Her death was unfortunately declared around 10 p.m.
The 73-year-old woman, who has not been identified, is believed to have suffered a heart attack.
BA said in a statement: “Sadly, a customer passed away on a flight from London Heathrow to Nice. Our thoughts are with the customer’s family at this difficult time. We are unable to provide or confirm further details about the passenger.”
