British Airways A380 is currently holding over the Atlantic Ocean.

British Airways flight BA207 from London Heathrow to Miami has turned back over the Atlantic.

  • UPDATE We have confirmation BA207 is circling to burn fuel before returning to London Heathrow.

The A380 (reg. G-XLEA) appears to be burning fuel at 31,000 ft just off the coast of Ireland before landing.

The flight was already suffering 2 hours late. It took off from Heathrow at 12:11 BST instead of 10:25.
