A Spanish man was found dead in his car parked since January at Charleroi airport.

The man was found dead in a car parked since January in an express car park at Charleroi airport. The death of this Spanish national dates back to the end of January this year!

The discovery was made this last Friday when a surveillance team circulated in one of the express car parks at Charleroi airport.

During their routine patrol, their attention was drawn to a car bearing a Luxembourg license plate.

Alerted by the presence of the car which seemed to have been parked for many weeks, the surveillance team discovered the body of the 54-year-old inside the vehicle, which was not locked.

The death dates back to the end of January. Its cause is not yet known.

The Charleroi public prosecutor’s office confirms that the man had been in the car registered in Luxembourg since 27 January. He was found in the back of his vehicle
