The Saudia crew of the destroyed Airbus A330 at Khartoum Airport are safe

The crew of a Saudia A330 that was destroyed during a military coup takeover at Khartoum International Airport were safe inside the terminal.

Saudi Arabian Airlines released a statement confirming their aircraft was affected by the fighting as the lane was preparing to return back to Riyadh.
Wishing the crew a safe outcome after being caught in the middle of the fighting.

The Saudia crew who were caught in the middle of a violent clash between Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and Sudan’s regular military forces on Saturday at Khartoum International Airport are now safe at the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Khartoum.

The airline’s aircraft, an A330-300, was reported to be destroyed.
