A Ryanair flight to Milan was delayed after an unauthorized passenger caused chaos at Brussels Airport on Thursday.

The man boarded the Ryanair plane without the necessary documents and locked himself in the lavatory. The Federal police were informed, and police officers stepped into the plane to arrest the man. All passengers were asked to leave the plane to carry out a thorough check.

This evacuation took place on a Ryanair Boeing 737, with registration 9H-QDS on July 1st. The aircraft was scheduled to leave Brussels Airport at 8:35 as flight FR2963 bound to Milan.

The Federal police confirmed that the man had boarded without the necessary documents. A police spokesperson said:

“The man caused some trouble in the plane. He pushed passengers and locked himself in the toilet. We were finally able to call him out without a problem. Because the man had left luggage on the plane as well, everyone had to leave the plane so that we could carry out a check.”

The plane departed from Brussels at 10:00, with a delay of 1 hour and 25 minutes, arriving in Milan at 11:11 local time.
