National carrier Air India on Thursday said unlike other airlines that had laid off workers, none of its employees would lose job.
“The recent decisions of the Air India Board regarding rationalisation of staff cost were reviewed at a meeting at the Ministry of Civil Aviation on Thursday evening.
“There has been no reduction in basic pay, dearness and house rent allowances. The rationalisation of some allowances had to be done on account of the prevailing financial crisis,” Air India said.
