Ryanair has cancelled all of its flights to, from and within Italy amidst coronavirus outbreaks in the country.

Italy is currently on lockdown as the Italian government looks to contain the spread of COVID-19, prompting the FCO to change its travel advice against all but essential travel to Italy.

As a result, Ryanair has been forced to suspend a number of its flights until Wednesday 8th April.

The airline will be suspending Italian domestic flights from midnight on Wednesday 11th March, and all Italian international flights from midnight on Friday 13th March.

The airline said that affected passengers have been contacted by email regarding the cancellations.

As for passengers looking for repatriation, Ryanair is offering a free move to an earlier one of its flights operating until midnight on Friday 13th March.
