14th January 2016 is announced as the final day for the final flight of the 747 with Air France.
The airline is offering a ‘unique’ experience with a tribute flight over France and its landmarks.
AF747 will depart Paris CDG at 11:30am and the flight will take a tour of France. Business class lunch and champagne for all the passengers.
The flight will arrive back at Paris CDG and passengers will then be invited to enter a tour around the aircraft hangers and share another drink.
