China Southern flight number CZ303 had to avoid military activity in China meaning more fuel was used. This had led to fuel running too low to fly all the way to London causing the Boeing 787 having to land at Amsterdam Airport.
Since then, the aircraft has refuelled and continued to Heathrow from Amsterdam this afternoon.
The Daily Mail has attempted to contact China Southern but is yet to receive a reply. It is also unknown how many people were on board the flight.
