A Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flight, flying from Kuala Lumpur to Hyderabad turned back earlier tonight as a safety precaution due to a technical issue, but landed safely at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in Sepang.
A source in MAS said #MH198 turned back shortly after takeoff when a problem was detected in one of the onboard computers. It returned as a safety precaution while still flying over the Malacca Straits.
