These aircraft are designed to refuel other military aircraft mid-flight, greatly extending their range and endurance.

The KC-135 Stratotanker is a military aerial refueling aircraft developed by Boeing and introduced in 1957 with a fuel Capacity of around 200,000 pounds of fuel.

The KC-46A Pegasus is a next-generation aerial refueling tanker developed by Boeing, derived from the 767-2C commercial aircraft.
