First ten F-16 fighter jets officially entered in service in the Ukrainian Air Force.
During a ceremony in Eastern Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, celebrated the entry in service of the first ten F-16AM/BM MLU multirole fighter jets in the Ukrainian Air Force.
The F-16 aircraft were transferred from Denmark and the Netherlands. The Secretary of State Blinken announced during NATO summit that: “Those jets will be flying in the skies of Ukraine this summer to make sure that Ukraine can continue to effectively defend itself against the Russian aggression”.
