A missile was fired from a Chadian fighter jet as it was preparing for takeoff.
The incident happened at the Adji Kossei airbase, bordering N’Djamena International Airport (NDJ), in the capital city of Chad, on April 17, 2020. The aircraft involved is a Su-25 of the Chadian Air Force.
After going through a fuel truck belonging to the French army, also operating from the airbase in the anti-jihadist Operation Barkhane, the missile hit a nearby house belonging to a senior Chadian officer.
