DUBAI, UAE – Authorities in the United Arab Emirates have confirmed that two drones fell in the vicinity of Dubai International Airport (DXB) earlier today. While the incident resulted in a small number of injuries, airport operations remain fully functional.

Incident Details and Casualties

The UAE authorities reported that the falling craft caused injuries to four individuals in the area. Emergency services responded immediately to the scene to provide medical assistance. The casualties include:

  • Two Ghanaian nationals: Sustained minor injuries.
  • One Bangladeshi national: Sustained minor injuries.
  • One Indian national: Sustained moderate injuries and is currently receiving treatment.

Airport Operations Normal

Despite the security concern near the perimeter, Dubai International Airport—one of the world’s busiest aviation hubs—has maintained full operational capacity.

A spokesperson for the airport confirmed that there have been no disruptions to flight schedules, and air traffic control continues to manage arrivals and departures as planned.
