An Azimuth Airlines flight from Moscow was forced to return after it lost its right engine cowling on takeoff.
An Azimuth Airlines Sukhoi Superjet 100-95B has lost its right engine cowling on departure from Moscow Vnukovo International Airport.
The aircraft (registration RA-89120) departed VKO Airport Sunday 15 June 2025 in the morning to Batumi and stopped the climb at around 9,000 feet when pilots noticed the incident.
