A Delta Airlines Airbus A319 was forced to reject take-off after it suffered an engine failure. However, it ended up beyond the runway edge as a result of a runway excursion.
The Airbus A319-100 with registration N354NB was scheduled to depart Mexico City as flight DL-605 bound to Minneapolis on Tuesday, February 15, with 101 people on board.
The pilots were forced to reject take-off after one of the engines failed while the aircraft was accelerating for take-off.
As the pilots rejected take-off at around 100 knots, the aircraft veered to the right of the runway edge before coming to a stop.
