Air France flight AF183 departed Bangkok Sunday, February 1 2026 at 12:25 ICT for a 12-hour flight to Paris CFG.
The 26 year-old Boeing 777-200ER (registration F-GSPF) was cruising at 36,000 feet over Azerbaijan when the crew declared an emergency almost 8 hours into the flight. Pilots immediately initiated a descent.
