Delta Air Lines flight to Atlanta has declared an emergency right after departure from Nice.

The flight DL25 departed Nice, France at 11:21 CEST from runway 22L. The Boeing 767-400ER stopped the climb at 5,000 feet.

The crew declared a general emergency (squawk 7700) 10 minutes after the takeoff.

The aircraft operating the flight, with registration N831MH, is 24 years old.

Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, France’s third-busiest airport after Paris Charles de Gaulle and Paris Orly, serves as a major gateway to the French Riviera. Located just a few kilometers from central Nice, it handles millions of passengers each year, particularly during the busy summer season when tourists flock to the Mediterranean coast.
