The flight AF460 departed Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport at 10:29 CEST for a flight to São Paulo, Brazil.
About one hour into the flight, while cruising at 31,000 ft, the Boeing 777-300ER (registration F-GSQG), turned to East and descended to 20,000 feet.
Pilots declared an emergency (squawk 7700) due to burning smell in the cabin according to AIRLIVE source.
The aircraft was vectored to Bordeaux where it landed 1 hour and 38 minutes after departure on runway 05.
