The ‘Black Boxes’ of the Air India Boeing 787 was found on hostel building’s rooftop.
The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) said Black box of Air India’s crashed Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft VT-ANB was recovered from rooftop of the residential quarters of BJ Medical College in Ahmedabad.
In the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the black boxes—which include the Flight Data Recorder (FDR) and the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR)—are located in the aft (rear) section of the aircraft, specifically in the empennage (tail area).
