A flight from Poland to France has declared an emergency over Germany and diverted.
The Wizz Air flight W62091 departed Kraków, Poland today Wednesday, June 4 2025 at 05:50 CEST to Lyon, France.
The Airbus A321 (registration 9H-WAI) was cruising at 38,000 feet and flying over Germany when the crew declared an emergency likely due to a medical situation on board.
The flight was vectored to Munich Airport where it landed on runway 08R one hour and 20 minutes after departure.
The airline is scheduling a new departure at 08:30 CEST from Munich for a 40-minute flight to Lyon.
