Virgin Atlantic flight from London Heathrow to Las Vegas has declared an emergency and turned around over Atlantic.
The flight #VS155 departed London Heathrow this afternoon at 16:32 GMT from runway 27R.
The Boeing 787-9 (registration G-VZIG) climbed to 34,000 ft but turned around before crossing the Atlantic, North of Ireland.
The pilots declared an emergency (squawk 7700) almost 1 hour and 30 minutes into the flight due to a mechanical issue.
