Virgin Atlantic flight tom Mumbai is declaring an emergency after departure from London Heathrow.
Virgin Atlantic flight VS354 departed London at 17:35 GMT from runway 09R for a 8-hour flight to Mumbai.
About one hour into the flight, the crew of the Boeing 787-9 decided to turn around over Germany border.
The flight is operated by a 9-year-old Dreamliner (registration G-VOOH).
The crew declared an emergency (squawk 7700) while holding 20,000 ft over The English Channel.
