During takeoff from Belgrade, flight #JU324 hit landing pole causing serious damage to the Embraer E195 aircraft.

Air Serbia Embraer E195LR aircraft (OY-GDC) returned back to Belgrade (BEG) after it hit an airport infra (landing instrument) while operating flight JU324 Belgrade – Dusseldorf on the evening of Sunday, February 18, 2024.

ADSB data suggest flight #JU324 to Dusseldorf took off from an intermediate taxiway leaving only reduced length for take-off.

The pilots stopped the climb at a lower altitude and returned for a safe landing. No one aboard was injured.

According to reports, flight #JU324 overran the end of runway 30L and hit the approach masts of the opposite runway before the pilots could climb away.
