Air France aircraft flying from Paris CDG to Toronto suffered a tailstrike during landing attempt.
Flight Air France #AF356 from Paris CDG to Toronto was operated by an Airbus A350-900 on Sunday 21 January 2024.
The aircraft (reg. F-HTYH) was landing after a 8-hour flight when it received substantial damage to its fuselage during a tailstrike while landing attempt on runway 24L.
Pilots initiated a go-around and returned for a safe landing on the same runway about 15 minutes later.
The plane is only 2 years old.
