A Volaris Airbus A321 sustained a tail strike during a go-around at Guadalajara Airport, Mexico.
The Airbus A321-200 with registration XA-VLT was operating flight YOI607 from Cancun to Guadalajara. However, while it was landing on Guadalajara’s runway 11R, flight YOI607 initiated a go-around.
During the go-around, the A321 suffered a tail strike, sustaining substantial damage. After the aborted landing, the aircraft landed safely 20 minutes later.

Aircraft,that operated flight Y4607 from Cancun (CUN) ,is on ground pending further maintenance on it.

According to reports, no one was injured in the incident. However, following the incident, the aircraft has been grounded, awaiting further maintenance on it.
