The Virgin Atlantic Dreamliner has declared an emergency in Scottish airspace.
The flight performed a U-turn still at 34,000 ft.
The Boeing 787-9 (reg. G-VDIA) departed from London Heathrow runway 09R at 18:05 BST.
The crew declared a general emergency (Squawk 7700) about one hour into the flight.
