Flight #DL79 returned to Prague Airport quickly after takeoff.
The Boeing 767-300ER was operating flight #DL79 to New York JFK Airport.
But minutes after takeoff, pilots requested to return to Prague Airport.
The aircraft (reg. N175DN) returned due to technical problems according to the Airport.
Currently, the intervention of the airport firefighters is underway.
- UPATE The plane is dragged onto a parking stand after being checked by firefighters.
- UPDATE Due to the intervention, the main runway 06/24 was closed for 30 minutes. As a result, several planes were diverted to the surrounding airport.
- UPDATE Now the airport is back to normal operation.
Right engine started smoking right after takeoff from Prague.
