Passengers of Vueling flight #VY2212 was evacuated via emergency slides on the runway at Barcelona El Prat Airport.
Vueling flight #VY2212 was scheduled to leave this Sunday morning from Barcelona El Prat airport to Seville but the aircraft had to abort the takeoff on the runway and proceed to an emergency evacuation via emergency slides.
The Airbus A320 (reg. EC-JTR) was in its take-off run on runway 25L at Barcelona El Prat, Spain when a birstrike into an engine forced the pilots to abort.

Left main gear and nose tires exploded due to the weight and the high speed brake.
The flight VY2212 BCN-SVQ with scheduled departure time today at 9.10LT has been disembarked after a bird strike at El Prat Airport. All passengers have been evacuated normally and a new aircraft has been enabled to operate the flight, estimated time 12.30LT.
