A Kuwait Airways Boeing 777 has been damaged while returning to Kuwait City.

A Boeing 777-300ER has been struck by lighting while returning to Kuwait City.

The aircraft (reg. 9K-AOL) has been damaged at several areas including the right wing

The lighting entered then exited the flap track fairing causing several holes.
