INCIDENT Azur Air Boeing 767-300 to Moscow rejected take-off

Russians flying from Phuket to Moscow were stuck at the airport for more than four hours.

An Azur Air Boeing 767-300 operating flight #ZF3604 from to Moscow to Phuket, Thailand rejected its take-off run at high speed on runway 09 due to engine issue.

At first there was the usual soft movement with acceleration, then a push, accompanied by a pop or crack, and a sharp deceleration.

The Boeing 767-300 (reg. RA-73034)’s landing gear was damaged during the incident. Three tires were damaged.

All 309 passengers and 12 crew members deplaned on the taxiway.
