A male passenger was detained onboard a LOT Polish Airlines flight to JFK Airport after he went up to the cockpit door and began banging on it.
The LOT Polish Airlines Boeing 787-9, with registration SP-LSF, was performing flight LO26 from Warsaw Chopin Airport, Poland to New York – JFK Airport on Friday night. Flight LO26 departed Warsaw at 17:25 and landed at New York – JFK Airport at around 20:30.
After being refused to enter into the cockpit he became aggressive and was restrained by the crew members and fellow passengers before the police met the aircraft at JFK Airport. A flight attendant was reportedly struck in the scuffle.

The Port Authority police took the suspect into custody at Gate 9 of Terminal 7 and he was later taken to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
