The crew then decided to go around before positioning and safely land on Heathrow’s runway 27R some 15 minutes after making the first approach.

All landing traffic was temporarily diverted from runway 27L to runway 27R.

The airport’s emergency services met the aircraft as a precaution.

In a statement, an airlines spokesperson reportedly said:

“The aircraft landed safely, and customers and crew have all disembarked.”
