INCIDENT UPS Boeing 747 tipped onto its tail at Seoul-Incheon Airport

A parked UPS Airlines Boeing 747-400F tipped onto its tail at Seoul Incheon Airport, South Korea.

The Boeing 747-400F, with registration N572UP, arrived at Incheon Airport as flight UPS12 from Dubai International Airport and was parked when the incident took place on 27th October.

The aircraft reportedly suffered an issue with its main landing gear, tipping the plane backwards and leaving the nose lifted off. Inspection after the incident found Hydraulic liquid leaked onto the stand.

The aircraft was empty, and there was no loading or unloading taking place. No one was injured in the incident. The plane was scheduled to depart for Cologne, Germany, which eventually got cancelled.
