A DHL Airbus A300-600 freighter aborted take-off at high speed at Brussels Airport on 26 November. Due to this, the aircraft’s tire became so hot that multiple tires burst out.

Due to the aborted take-off, the airport had to close runway 25R. The airport used runway 25L for landings and runway 19 for take-off. Emergency services rushed to the aircraft.

The aircraft was operating flight BCS316 from Brussels to Vitoria in Spain. However, a problem arose during take-off.

Normally, take-offs are only aborted for serious problems such as engine trouble at such high speed.
