An Air Asia flight made an emergency landing at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad on Tuesday afternoon.

The Air Asia flight I51543 which was flying from Jaipur to Hyderabad had to make an emergency landing at the Hyderabad airport.

76 passengers were aboard the Air Asia flight. The plane landed safely at the Hyderabad airport at 1.25 pm.

After noticing a fuel leakage, the pilots shut down one of the engines as a precautionary measure and the Airbus A320 jet made the landing with one engine.

A full emergency was declared at the Hyderabad airport once the pilot of the Jaipur-Hyderabad flight informed of the snag. All operations were shut down and emergency services were kept on standby till the flight made a safe landing.
