A Ryanair aircraft was damaged at Shannon Airport during the week end.

The Boeing 737-800 (reg. EI-FON) was flying from Rome to Madrid on Saturday November 17th during the night.

 

The fuselage was struck by an airbridge at the rear of the plane on Saturday.

The aircraft suffered substantial damage and needs to get repair before resuming commercial service.

The plane is only almost 3 years old.
