Thomas Cook flight was forced to declare an emergency landing at Manchester Airport after a bird was sucked into an engine.

The Thomas Cook Airlines flight MT3496 from Glasgow to Palma de Mallorca diverted to Manchester and landed safely at around 7.20am on Thursday.
A spokesman for the airline confirmed there was a suspected bird strike in one of the engines of the Airbus A321.
