EMERGENCY Turkish Airlines flight #TK10 forced to divert at London Gatwick because of smoke

A plane of Turkish Airlines was forced to divert and land at Gatwick International Airport in London  following the occurrence of a smoke on board.

 The aircraft, a Boeing 777-300ER, TK10 flight, which was flying from Los Angeles (California / USA) and Istanbul (Turkey) was airborne for several hours when arrived over England, the pilots were alerted of a smoke in the cargo hold.

They decided to divert to Gatwick airport in London.
The plane landed safely and no injuries were reported. Security vehicles followed the aircraft to the parking where passengers were disembarked before joining the terminal.

Fire crews examined the aircraft but could not find any explanation for the smoke. The flight then departed .
