A plane carrying 30 people was diverted to Southend Airport after being hit by lighting.
The Blue Islands Flight, S1718, was flying from Jersey to London City Airport when it had to make an emergency landing.
The flight had left the island just after 5.30pm and was expected to land at 6.35pm.
The aircraft landed safely at London Southend at 18:37 to be inspected by engineers.
